We are aware that  many childcare providers have closed  over the last three weeks as a result of the spread of COVID 19.

We need to ensure that there is sufficient childcare available locally, particularly for 0-2s, for key workers who are delivering critical services. It is uncertain at present what demand there will be for childcare from Key workers but we anticipate that there will be an increasing demand over the next few weeks as more patients are diagnosed and treated. We are therefore urgently calling for all registered childcare providers to consider remaining open, all be it on a reduced capacity basis,  with small numbers of children,  over the next few weeks so that we can help ensure that critical services continue to run. We are currently exploring how we could do this. If you  would be interested in working with us to achieve this please contact our FIS via email and express an interest.
