Our apologies, the information included in the HWB newsletter is misleading.  The Childcare Offer for Wales is for working parents of children aged 3 and 4 years old.  

The 30 hours is funded childcare, not free childcare.  The Childcare Offer Additional Support Grant is paid direct to the childcare provider if the child is accessing the 30 hours Childcare Offer. 

The Family Information Service is a resource that offers assistance with finding childcare options, help with childcare costs, and resources for people looking after children. The service also provides information on quality childcare options, activities and events. Additionally, the Family Information Service offers details on local services, projects, and leisure opportunities for families to participate in.

Overall, the purpose of the Family Information Service is to support families in accessing various resources and services in their area.
