Carmarthenshire People First support adults with learning disabilities, they offer an advocacy service and also have fortnightly groups.

Disability Sport Wales (DSW) is the lead organisation for disability physical activity (including sport) in Wales. DSW creates and supports opportunities for disabled people to engage in a more physical lifestyle at community level, as well as talent competing in disability and parasport on national and international stages.

Breakthro Llanelli is a club for the relief, care and social welfare, education, recreation, leisure time occupation for children and adults within the locality of Llanelli and District  who have learning disabilities and or special educational needs, with the object of empowering, improving their condition of life and integration with all persons  as well as providing much needed respite for parents, especially one parent families.

Carmarthen Breakthro’ is a local registered charity. Qualified staff provides a professional service which supports families of children with a range of disabilities from their Nantgaredig base.
