Every five years a full Childcare Sufficiency Assessment is carried out by the Local Authority to identify gaps in childcare in Carmarthenshire. You can research the CSA to see if the area in which you wish to set up as a childcare provider has been highlighted as a gap in childcare.

The whole Carmarthenshire team are an asset to us childminders and I know from speaking to other childminders in the UK that they do not have such a fantastic team behind them. I could not recommend this enough for anyone who would like to become a childminder in Carmarthenshire.
