Early Help Hub
The Early Help Hub (previously Team Around the Family) supports children, young people and their families by using the early help approach to bring about positive, lasting change. By offering support at an early stage, we help prevent issues from escalating and ensure families receive the right help at the right time.
Who we support
The Early Help Hub supports families living in Carmarthenshire. Parents and carers can contact us directly if they feel their family would benefit from additional support.
How we can help
Support is tailored to each family’s needs and may include help with:
- Strengthening family relationships and reducing conflict
- Managing children’s behaviour and supporting positive routines
- Housing
- Finances
- Health and wellbeing
- Support for young carers
- Domestic abuse and hidden harm support
- Connecting families with local services and community support
All support is offered on a voluntary basis, with parents and carers choosing whether to engage and work in partnership with us.
How we work
We take a collaborative approach to provide a unified service that integrates various support services.
Our work is strengths-based, building on what’s already working well within your family while helping you overcome challenges together.
