High Quality Childcare

Quality childcare develops social skills and the ability to play and concentrate. These are crucial, not only for the ability to learn, but also to take part in groups. Flying Start childcare aims to be of the highest quality. It should strive to be the benchmark for quality childcare throughout Wales.

Engaging Experiences

Enabling adults, effective environments and engaging experiences are key to providing quality childcare. This provides the foundations on which future development will be built.

Welsh Government Quality Childcare Guidance

A Healthy Child is a Happy Child.

  • For the healthy development of children, it is important to create an environment that promotes being healthy. Healthy attitudes and behaviours are encouraged.
