Specialist Youth Health Team
Carmarthenshire Youth Health Team supports vulnerable young people aged 11 – 25, who are not in mainstream school, college or training and have limited access to health services.
They offer one to one support to young people on issues such as anxiety, depression, self harm, negative or unhelpful thinking patterns, sexually inappropriate or harmful behaviour.
The team can also help parents to increase their knowledge and awareness of how to support a young person with emotional and mental health issues.
